Warranty Statement and Procedure
This statement does not alter a warranty document provided with any item, it is a general guide and is superseded by the warranty document provided.
Whilst every effort is taken to supply quality products using quality materials, should an issue occur a Warranty is applicable for all CEL products, this commences from the date on which the tool/machine is sold to the end user customer.
The warranty covers defects in material and/or workmanship only. When making a claim under the warranty, the original proof of purchase bearing the date of purchase must be submitted. The repairs under warranty may only be carried out by CEL UK service, or an authorised service agent.
Exclusions to warranty service include but are not exclusive to the following
• Incorrect use, overloading of the machine or fitting non-approved accessories
• Use of force, damage caused by external influences or foreign bodies such as sand or stones
• Damage caused by non-observance of the instructions for use such as connection to an unsuitable mains supply or voltage or non-compliance with the installation instructions
• Normal wear and tear, tools are not suitable for industrial applications
• Consumable items such as driver bits, sanding and cutting accessories and batteries (see below).
The warranty will not cover tools/machines, which have been partially or completely dismantled.
The accepting of a claim under the warranty will not grant a further extension of the warranty period nor start a new warranty period.
Our aim is to deal with your product issue as quickly and as effectively as possible. We reserve the right to repair or replace your product as befits the situation at the time. Your warranty claim based on your sales contract with the retailer, including your statutory rights, shall not be affected by this warranty statement.
Refurbished products: A restricted warranty may be applied for returned products that have been resold after inspection and refurbishment, please refer to product information at time of sale.
Faulty/Damaged on Delivery
Contact CEL or your reseller before returning any items, items returned without approval may not be refunded or returned to you. CEL recommend that you use a traceable service for all items sent. You should not accept delivery if the parcel content is clearly damaged. If this is not possible please take photos of the damage before opening the parcel and share these images with us via email or the appropriate support portal; Robox Support Portal ; Power Tools Support Portal.
Returns must be complete and undamaged in their original packaging to be considered for refund. A 20% restocking fee will be deducted from the purchase price of an item that is in resaleable condition, further deductions may be made on items that require rework. CEL reserves the right to reject any return. No postage costs will be refunded.
